EFS Technology to attend and present at Inforum 2013 (Orlando, Florida)
We are pleased to announce that we will be attending Inforum 2013 on the 21st - 24th April at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida. Representing EFS Technology will be Marc Jenkins. Marc has worked at EFS Technology for over 18 years and in his current role as a Senior Account Manager he is responsible for looking after many of the company's largest customers and partners. With a degree in Engineering & Management, a keen eye for problem solving and a wealth of experience across many different industries, Marc has truly earned his reputation as an output and document management expert. His hard work and commitment has helped him to forge a successful and productive relationship with Infor, helping EFS Technology to achieve a global solution partnership, augmenting Infor's LN and Baan software.
During Inforum 2013, Marc will be presenting the following show with Sue Peyton (Director, Product Management, Infor):
Our high profile Belgium based client requires an ERP LN Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business management and our client’s IT teams for ERP LN and related software implementations and support.
Implements, maintains, and customizes Infor ERP in addition to other enterprise business applications and interfaces to ERP system. Provides technical and functional support in the areas of; ERP systems administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, system testing and development, security access, and training. Analyzes, implements, and supports worldwide offices running on Infor ERP in a Microsoft Windows and SQL Server environment. Provides end-user support in the development of ad-hoc queries and reports.
Historically, Infor operated a highly restrictive sales channel, limiting its value-added resellers (a.k.a. VARs and channel partners) to sell into companies that generate revenues of no more than $100 million per year. With its August 8th announcement (covered here: Infor Eases Sales Restrictions for Channel Partners), Infor now allows its channel to sell to companies that generate revenues of up to $500 million per year.
The old restrictions made it difficult - in some cases near impossible - for channel partners to generate revenues from the sale of software licenses. Many of Infor's systems are geared to companies that generate revenues far in excess of $100 million annually. For example, Infor10 ERP Enterprise (formerly ERP LN and Baan) is a feature rich, complex system designed for larger mid-sized and large enterprise-sized manufacturers of complex, engineer-to-order (ETO) products. The $100 million cap effectively made the "reseller" title more theoretical than practical for those firms that only resold Infor10 ERP Enterprise (ERP LN).
