Syntax

#include <bic_gbf>

long gbf.set.resource(long resource.type, <type> resource.value, …)

Description

This function sets the resources given by resource.type to the given resource.value. The arguments are given in name value pairs.

data.input()

Syntax

void data.input( string options(.), ref string result(.), string default(.) [,ref long event(EVTMAXSIZE), ref long char_value )

 

Description

This reads data from the keyboard.

If the function specifies a default value, that value is displayed on screen. The value is accepted when the user presses ENTER. However, if the user enters a character at the first position in the field, the default value is deleted.

Variables or expressions that are included in text lines can be expanded or substituted for report purposes. You must set the variable lattr.textexpand=TRUE if you want this to happen. Expressions are internally evaluated by the function expr.compile().

R = read-only R/W = read and write

lattr.autobefores

R/W

A boolean indicating whether or not before.field layouts are automatically repeated at the top of a page if the page break does not correspond with a sort break. The default value is true.
