SQL syntax

The general structure of an SQL query is as follows:

 SELECT <select list>
 [ FROM <from list> ]
 [ WHERE <where condition> ]
 [ GROUP BY <group list>
 [ HAVING <having condition> ] ]
 [ ORDER BY <order by list> [ WITH RETRY [REPEAT LAST ROW] ]]
 [ SET SPECIFICATION ]
