We are currently in search of an (Temporary) Systems Analyst to join our progressive and dedicated team.
Position Responsibilities: The Systems Analyst (Temporary), reporting to the IT Manager, is primarily responsible for processing and handling day-to-day requests to the IT department. Will provide system-level support of multi-user systems and software tools including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems. Additionally, this position is responsible for correcting corporate information problems by analyzing requirements, defining business software options and recommending system controls and protocols.
General Duties/Tasks Related:
Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
Defines business software options by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Teamwork, Software Maintenance, Verbal and Written Communication, Promoting Process Improvement, General experience implementing/supporting ERP, CRM, MRP and/or BPM software.
Bachelor's degree and three to five years of programming and/or system analysis experience.
Desired skills are software design, software documentation, software development process, with specific experience in any of the following: Infor/BAAN ERP, Business Objects, Microsoft Dynamics, Siebel or Microsoft CRM, .NET programming, MAS90, MS SQL, Oracle, Crystal Reports, MS Reporting Services or other report writing tools.
