 It gives Merino Services an emmense pleasure to share yet another success story. On 27th May 2009, Shilp Gravures selected MSL as their Parter-2-Progress for implementation of Infor ERP LN.
MSL is expected to play an important role in implementation, Change management and adoption of ERP culture in this new initiative of Shilp Gravures. Shilp Gravures management formed a dedicated team headed by Mr. Amber Patel (Managing Director), MR DN Parikh (Head Finance) and Mr Hasit Shah (Head IT) for selection of most suitable ERP system for the organization. After going through approx 6 months of rigorous evaluation process Shilp Gravures selected Infor ERP LN as the product to be implemented. According to Shilp Gravures Management team, after evaluating various available ERP solutions like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and ERP LN they selected Infor ERP LN because it fulfill Shilp Gravures requirements more efficiently, and MSL being one of the most reliable and strategic partner of Infor was the right choice for implementation of the solution.
About Shilp Gravures
Shilp Gravures began operations in 1989 as an Engraving house, when gravure industry in India was at its infancy. It had an inherent cutting edge, having been founded and run by a team of experienced technocrats, led by the visionary Ambar Patel.
In 1990, the company set up its own Chemical Etching facility and in 1993, it opened the first and only Electronic Engraving House in India - Shilp Gravures Limited. From Chemical Etching to Electronic Engraving, it was a huge leap. Today, Shilp Gravures has a 300-strong client list which includes India's most reputed names in FMCG, Liquor, Cigarette and other segments and a substantial national market share. Engraved Screen for Rotary Screen Printing: Shilp offers state of art Engraved Screens for Rotary Screen Printing. The Pre Press Shop is equipped with Gallus equipment.
Engraved Gravures Cylinders:- Shilp offers for the first time in India Laser precision for Gravure Cylinders. The gravure cylinders were engraved chemically or through electronically so far. Shilp has now procured state of art; the fiber optic, Digital Laser Engraving machine together with supporting equipment like coating, etching and finishing. In Digital Laser machine, the beam is focused down to 10 microns.

Flexo Plate Procession: Shilp flexo plate processing unit is equipped with DuPont Cyrel 2001P, one of the world’s finest digital plate processors producing plates of up to 42x60 inch / 106x152 cm – becoming the first to produce this size which is the largest available in South Asia. The machine itself is a complete inline processor with exposing, punching, processing, drying and cutting operations.
