Menu browser & font size
HI,
can anyone tell me how to increase the fint size in "MenuBrowser"? Our users complain on that small font size.
I also think that there is a connection with labels on forms and its font size (it is the same, I think).
I've already tried to change the font size in BW-config., but the result was only visible in reports that you "print" on display!!!
thx,
Franci

Is changing the Window Settings Screen Area resolution an option? For instance changing from 1024x768 to 800x600 would increase font sizes in the Menu Browser along with font sizes in all other windows that are being used. It's a simple and easy solution unless there are other constraints.

FONT Option
I can not seem to find anything on using the FONT option. May I ask the format of the font name? The only I seem to get to work is FONT=arial. Is there a way to also set point size?
Thanks
Mark

As far as I know, no font size setting... but you can select a font that is wide and clear to read even in a small pointsetting.
I can use courier, r_ansi, tahoma, verdana, times, some other fonts... but not all. These are ttf fonts on my machine.

Fontheight
Hi,
You also can set FONTHEIGHT and FONTWIDTH.
For example: -- -set FONT="ARIAL" -set FONTHEIGHT=14

Thx & Next Question
I'm back. Thanks for help. The solution is really great, but....
Now the window inside baan session window is growing, too and you must scroll it left-right. The result is that data inside baan session window is not easily scanned.
So I use another option as follows:
-- -set FONT="Arial" -set FONTHEIGHT=16 -set FONTWIDTH=41
Any better suggestion is wellcome!
Franci

Updates-
Grieg, Corelli and Reger are using the standard windows (system) fonts / sizes.
Windows -> Control Panel -> Display -> Appereance -> Menu font
Using the variable FONT, this font could be overruled. But this does not apply anymore for Corelli and Reger environments.
This is the reason you are not seeing any font type or font size changes when login to Baan with BW command setup on these environments.
However these options are valid for Baan IV environemt and working fine.

I was asked where this should be set:
-- -set FONT="Arial" -set FONTHEIGHT=16 -set FONTWIDTH=41
Put the above text in the Command box of the BW configuration screen.
