Post Selection Filter in LN
Baan: ERP LN 6.1 FP7 (Infor ERP 10.1)
DB: SQL Server 2008 R2

I have Data entry session in LN that has DAL on the main table it using.
I have a two (2) tcclot field (Lot) that zooms to whltc1100m000 and returns whltc100.clot.

Both fields I need to filter the Item to the zoom to session that it picks up the proper Item to the corresponding Lot fields. How do I achieve this? Is it possible to create a filter query in DAL or any way to make this work?

This code does not even gets executed because I am using LN or because I am using DAL in my table?

field.clot.1:
before.zoom:
query.extend.where.in.zoom("whltc100.item = " & quoted.string(cxcsb101.item.1))

selection.filter:
query.extend.where.in.zoom("whltc100.item = " & quoted.string(cxcsb101.item.1))

field.clot.2:
before.zoom:
message("Went to Zoom")
query.extend.where.in.zoom("whltc100.item = " & quoted.string(cxcsb101.item.2))

selection.filter:
query.extend.where.in.zoom("whltc100.item = " & quoted.string(cxcsb101.item.2))

From the LN programmer's guide

You can use query.extend.where() in the before.program section of UI scripts and in the before.open.object() hook of DAL scripts. You can use query.extend.where.in.zoom() only in the selection.filter section of UI scripts.

The session I am zooming to is not a custom session it is a standard LN session whltc1100m000 and I don't have source code for that session. My question is why on my session none of the field events gets triggered at all...

field.clot.1:
before.input:
message("Before Input")

check.input:
message("Check Input")

after.field:
message("After Field")

before.zoom:
query.extend.where.in.zoom("whltc100.item = " & quoted.string(cxcsb101.item.1))

selection.filter:
query.extend.where.in.zoom("whltc100.item = " & quoted.string(cxcsb101.item.1))
