Baan: B4,B50C, LN FP1-FP10 - DB: SQL Server , Oracle - OS: Window , Unix , AIX
how to change the oracle account password?
Baan: ERP LN 6.1 FP11 (Infor ERP 10.5)
DB: Oracle 11gR2
OS: RHEL 7.x
C/S: None/Unknown

Hi,

Does anybody know how to change the oracle account password?

I had forget the test environment oracle account password, and reset it in plsql.
But after that, I cannot login the baan anymore, the error message as:
504 database logon denied.

I had tried to use encrypt newpassword command, generated the password string, and paste it into the ora_group file. However it still does not works.

Does anybody know how to fix it?

Thanks.

Jeffers

Paste the new encrypted string into the $BSE/lib/ora_users file for your user id.

The proper way to change the password would be via the Sessions, refer to the screenshot.
