Same size production orders
Baan: Other/Unknown

I’m trying to plan using regular, same size production orders but when I use fixed order quantity or play with other planning parameters the best I can get is multiple small orders due at the same day as my demand. Obviously this is not a solution considering we have limited capacity, therefore we need manually to reschedule all of these small lots. Here is one example: I have a demand of 20 and manufacturing capacity to make 4 per day. What parameter I should change so I get 5 daily orders of 4

Thank you in advance

BaaN IV normal planning engine does not consider limited / finite capacity and hence it is creating more orders than your capacity.
