BaaN running SIC

A new blog entry has been added:

BaaN running SIC

We are experiencing some issues as we convert a number of existing parts to SIC from MRP.
Notably we have a part with planned transactions in excess of 250 in the Display Item Data session but this only shows 2 in the Display Inventories by Item. We believe this to be the souce of the problems can't find out why.

Any Ideas?

Planned inventory has nothing to do with the Inventory in hand. Planned inventory just updates inventory commitment.

John, may be you can elaborate what you mean. Converting item from SIC to MRP has no affect in planned transaction. Though after MRP, there shall be planned MRP transaction.
