ODM file access problem
Baan: ERP LN 6.1 FP6
DB: SQL Server 2008 R2
OS: Windows 2003
C/S: Server

Hi All,
I recently setup ODM on fp6 windows 2003 server, did all the steps as mentioned in the document. The Vault and work area is on the server itself.

I was able to attach a document to the session from server(saves correctly to the Vault area) but facing an issue when reopening the same via button launch main files. It gives the error "system cannot find the path specified".

Did anyone face this error or any clues please.

Thanks
Jay

Hi Jay,

Did you opened the attached document from the server itself or from client machine?

Please Check This

Please confirm the following:

1. You have created a host with your Server's IP Address or Name with
Port: 4001
2. You have created two areas.

a. Vault Area with host as your new host and Area Type= Vault
b. Work Area which is dynamic with a correct path.

3. Check if your dmsys1511m000 is not empty.

4. In session dmsys0540m000, you have created a library with family profile as FLIB_TREE.

5. To the library you have linked two object,

a. DOCS which will be by default
b. VAULT SERVER which has you host attached to it.
