Custom check digit after serial number
Is it possible (using standard LN) to have a custom check digit added to the end of the serial number when creating new items ?
We would like to add a Verhoeff check digit at the end of the serial number.
Right now we don't have serialization implemented in LN but we do track serials numbers outside LN . We are introducing a custom check digit to our S/N and I wonder if this can make a future serialization implementation more tricky or if it is already taken into account under a standard LN implementation.
