Update Session

I want to create one update session. Could anyone guide me how I can do this.
Scenario is like below
Through input form Item description (tcibd001.dsca) will be change after giving. In input form two field will be given, first will be “Item Code” and second “Text Field”. When I click update button, which is in input form, text filed will update in “tcibd001.dsca” according to item code.

Item Description

You can update maximum 30 characters from text field. Text field is from the item table or any other table. If any other table you need to enter the key fields of text field table.

You need to handle all exception in this case.
