LN6 Installation - Retrieving database Information??
Baan: ERP LN 6.1 FP5
DB: Other/Unknown
OS: Other/Unknown
C/S: None/Unknown

Hello Folks,

I have very typical issue while installing the LN6. I have done it many times but never faced such weird issue.

As soon as i select the Database Application (from drop down list, which is MSSQL SERVER in this case),the installation gets stuck with a bottom message line "Retrieving Database Information...."). it does not go forward until I stop the process using Task manager.

I have already installed the database application (MSSQL) on this System.
Any idea what could it really be?

Regards
Shiv

Hi

Same Test System is already running Baan4c4. I am just trying to install another environment parallel to the Baan4c4.

So if SQL Server is working with Baan4c4 , it should work with LN6 FP5?
