Dear Friends,

I have installed MyDay 1.1.2. Myday installed successfully, but while logging to Infor Security, it gives error "CAS is unavailable". I think it’s a problem with link between LDAP and MYDay.

does anyone have an idea about the above error?
Thanks in advance.

Hardei

This could be because of LDAP being corrupted.

It would be recommend to reinstall this as it is easier then trying to troubleshoot.

I would recommend using Myday 1.2 as well.

Myday 1.2

To access myday 1.2 you will need to contact support and request access.

Waiting for InforSecurityMDM

Deal All,

Thanks for all your inputs. I uninstalled MyDay 1.1.2 and trying to install MyDay 1.2.1.

Installation went fine, but for post installation step, it stopped for InforSecurityMDM. Message is "Waiting for InforSecurityMDM".

What could be the problem. Again it is LDAP issue?

Please advice.

Thanks,
Hardei

Did you resolve this issue? I am installing MyDay 1.2 on Windows Server 2008 and faced the same error - "Waiting for Availability of xxxxxxxx Component". Installation wait more then ten minutes for availability of component and after that change the component name and wait for another component.

I found in the log file that installation did not create services. Problem is because installation search jvm.dll on wrong directory:
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_21\jre\bin\server\jvm.dll
instead of:
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_21\jre6\bin\server\jvm.dll

Any idea?

Hi,

Check for the infor services which are running behind. In my case, this error came beacuase container.1 service was not strated. After started that service my problem got resolved.

Thanks,
Hardei

Your java path cannot contain any spaces such as Program Files.

It may also be helpful to download new installation media and delete current. There may be some left over information pointing to incorrect information.

Thanks. Java installation folder was one problem. Another was UAC on Server 2008.
