Hi,
I'm not sure your LN and your database is running on which OS. We take a look if your install in Win2k3. Check whether your oracle instance is up and running and make sure your connection (Worktop) is using Rexec.
If UNIX installation, try to use BaanLogin port 7150 and also make sure blogind6.2 is running when you type
# ps -ef |grep blog
I also believe that you should check your Oracle instance whether it is running or not.
