Refresh current form
Baan: Baan IVc4
C/S: Server

hello experts,

I have developed one maintain session on which one flag of yes/no is present.
Initially all values of flag "NO" in table are displayed on form...
If I change the flag to "YES" and save the record then table is being updated ..
Now my problem is after table is getting updated, I want to refresh the form ie. the record I updated should not be displayed(as its flag is "YES")...
How to refresh the form using code???????
I have used the function refresh() , but it is of no use....
Please tell me urgently...
Thanks.....

Hi Ashish,

There are two parts of solution,

Part 1: To refresh the data.

You can use execute(find.data) or execute(first.set) to refresh the session. You may code as follows,
Code:
choice.modify.set:
after.choice:
        execute(find.data)
Part 2: Prevention of display of records wth flag = yes.

you can use query.extension = "table.flag = No". Please check the syntax as im not sure about it.

Else you can use following code,
Code:
main.table.io:
after.read:
           if table.flag = yes then
                       skip.io("")
           endif

For performance reason, use query.extension

The above methods should work , let me know if you face any problem.

Cya

Refresh Current Form

Hello bigjack,

thanx 4 the reply......
its working 4 flag yes/no....
Now another problem is, in other case there r 2 flags status(free/inprocess) and flag(yes/no)....
My maintain session displays records with status "free" and flag "no". Form type is 3 and status is in single occurence and flag is multioccurence. I have used query.extension for this. If I change flag to "yes" and saves the record then its status changes to "inprocess". Now in this case, if I use ur solution then form gets refresh but it displays form with "inprocess" without records(I think its because the record I updated is now inprocess).
I want the output as if I change the flag to yes and save then it should display the remaining free records...
Please help me in this.....

Hi Ashish,

Can you please post your code and few screenshots(before & after saving) as well to better understand your problem.

Also indicate whether the flags are part of view fields and index of the table

Bye
