Question increase font size

Hello. I would like to increase font size in BW forms and menu browser in some PC's. The monitors are 15'' and they must have 1024x768 resolution, so that baan font is almost unreadable.
I tried to change the font and font size in bw configuration but it doesn't work.
I tried also
-set FONTHEIGHT=14
in the command line of the bw configuration, but I get the error
"Can't read session or object (FONTHEIGHT = 14) "

(We are running BaanIv c4 on windows NT platform with oracle db )

Hi.

-- -set FONT="Arial" -set FONTHEIGHT=16 -set FONTWIDTH=41
Might be the solution.

Regards,
Klaas

Hi. Thanks for your reply.
I tried your suggestion, and this time I got no error and menu browser opens normally... but no change in font or font size can be seen.
any other idea?

This worked on a test for me

This test worked for me - did this a while ago:

-- -set FONT="times" -set FONTHEIGHT=14 -set FONTWIDTH=60

I am not sure about how to use font names. I will have to look for the other post that discussed this.

Mark

And here it is - font size.

I read the thread but I think It didn't helped me. Does it means I can not change the size font with a 1024x768 resolution?

Red face

Hello. I was partially wrong in my appreciation about de not-working variable SET FONT. Actually it is half working. I see all the table-fields with the changed fort, both input and display fields. What I still see with the old font size and type, are label fields the same way as the menu browser (and this is the problematic point because the font here is too small).
Thanks a lot for your replies.

Baan: baan4c2 - DB: sql server - OS: winNT
the "-- -set FONT="Tahoma" -set FONTHEIGHT=24" command line option works to change the size of text within a session

and control panel -> display -> appearance -> menu, changes the pull down menus

but neither suggestion works to increase the size of the text when on the main page of the baan menu browser, where it shows folders and the words
baan iv common <- I'd like this wording bigger
baan iv finance
baan iv ....

changing display resolution from 1024 * 768 to 800 * 600 works but is there another option ? maybe another command line option ?

Menu....

Using this setup:

-- -set FONT="tahoma" -set FONTHEIGHT=24 -set FONTWIDTH=60

and it looks like the attached image. So it did modify the menu for me. We are on B40c.74.
