Maintain currencies is where you set decimals for a currency.

Smile Format by generic unit

Dear melmer,

This is yet another checkpoint: format by generic unit. Here the display format for the combination of format code (every form field including purchase price usually has display format code) and currency (termed generic unit somehow) is maintained. Take a look what the format is for your purchase price form field display format code and purchase order currency

Rgds,
Paul

Hi,
Go to session Maintain Formats By Generic Unit {ttaad1107m000} and check under the format code 003 which should stand for "Prices" and scroll down to the HKD currency and see what format is mentioned. If according to your Currency formats you need six decimal points, your format should look like "ZZZZ9VD999999". Next click on the Special menu and run "Convert To Runtime" to commit the change. After this, you may want to run session Maintain Default Formats by Format Code {ttaad1108m000} and check for the format code 003 and the Default Display Format field(at the bottom of this session) should show "ZZZZ9VD999999" as the format. If you had to change it then after saving, click on Special Menu and run "Convert To Runtime".

Log out of baan and log on again to see the effect.

Hope it helps..

sk
P.S: Isnt 6 decimal points a tad bit too long???
