Question Lot Controled Item

I have an item that is not lot controled and I need to switch it to Lot Control. There is some history on the item (On hand, allocated , on order). What needs to be done so that I can switch it to LOT controled.

Thanks

COnvert non-lot to lot

You need to run session tdltc0130m000, convert non-lot item to lot item. This converts the item master data to say "lot controlled" and will give any existing inventory in the same warehouse, the same lot number.

The session does one item at a time.

Good luck
Ed

A session to "merge" lots - I don't recall seeing that.
One way that comes to mind is to do inventory adjustments.

Hello,
the thread is 15 years old an refers to BaaN IV.

In LN : whwmd4500m000 maybe what you're searching for.

Regards

Yes, all td sessions are for Baan IV. For LN, normally you can use the session whltc1202m000 to convert to Lot Item, or go to the specific in session Item - Lot (whltc1100m000) to access this session.
