Unhappy Calling subsession from subsession in AFS hangs

Hi everybody,

Trying to create an session to insert Purchase Invoices with AFS. I call

tfgld1101m000 which then calls
tfacp1110s000 which calls

I can go untill tfacp1110s000 and the record is correctly inserted on this session. The problem is that when I call tfacp1120s000 the session hangs. This happens either using or not using debugger.

Nothing relevant appears on the afs.log:
>tfacp1110s000 put.field:tfacp200.ninv 21010037
>tfacp1110s000 put.field:tfacp200.suno 295
>tfacp1110s000 put.field:tfacp200.docd 730516
>tfacp1110s000 put.field:tfacp200.ccur EUR
>tfacp1110s000 put.field:screen.amnt 33.02
>tfacp1110s000 put.field:tfacp200.dued 730559
>tfacp1110s000 insert

It seems the program is not controlling well the tfacp1120s000 session.

I already tried to insert an extra save before calling tfacp1120s000.

The relevant part of the code is:

stpapi.continue.process("tfacp1110s000", error.msg)

retval = stpapi.insert("tfacp1120s000",, erro)

Can somebody give a hand? (quickly please)

Thanks a lot

Is it doing an activate or a zoom? I am not familiar with this session and how it gets activated. I did find this thread and maybe it will help. Do you own source where you can put the tfacp sessions in debug mode?

Also might want to make sure you have the latest tools solution and session solution.

Smile Problem Solved

Thanks for your help.
Looking at the thread you suggested and testing a bit more gave some new ideas and...

I found out that if you interactivelly do a save (not clicking continue) in session tfacp1110s000, it automatically calls tfacp1120s000...

The problem was really in stpapi.insert in tfacp1110s000. (perhaps because the option was true, tfacp1120s000 was being called without the respective handling, which was only done after).

So I altered the code:

|Insert record in tacp1110s000
|kill tfacp1120s000 if it appears
retval = stpapi.insert("tfacp1110s000",, erro)

|Call tfacp1120s000
stpapi.continue.process("tfacp1110s000", error.msg)

Now it works ok.
