Baan: Infor LN 10.6, BaaN 4C - DB: oracle - OS: Linux
Unhappy POWWOW - Baan connection ODBC / ORACLE
Baan: Baan IVc4
DB: Oracle 10.2.0.x
OS: RHEL 4.x
C/S: Both

iaorana !

We have a problem with our barcode solution.

We used POWWOW to connect barcode reader's with Baan. We used ODBC to access to Database oracle on Serveur POWWOW.

Since august,22 2019 we have a POWOWO server saturation and response times are extremely long.

When we stop server an service, server saturation appears after 30 / 40 minutes.

We've test barcode reader, WIFI and no have detetected problème.

Have you idea's ?

Best Regards

My first thought is did anything change on the 22nd? Anything new running on the server? Are the individual processes not completing as quickly as before causing them to back up on the server. Might need to wait for someone who has used this tool. I am just swagging stuff.

My latest mantra - make sure you have latest stpapi patches and the latest session object. If on LN then please explore the option of using DAL2 functionality.

Do you all have any tools to help monitor the server and track across the network? I am no expert on this, but seeing as the domain controller was updated on Aug 21 and the problem started on the 22, leads me to believe it is part of the issue. Our company uses like wireshark to track thru and try to find issues like this.
