Baan IV and New SQL Servers?

Hi All,

We are in the process of upgrading the Windows Server 2008 installations that run our installation of Baan IV.

Our database is currently in MS SQL Server 2008. We are looking to upgrade to something newer when the new VM is created.

What is the latest version of MS SQL Server that we can use with Baan IVc4?

Baan IV is supported on the LN portingsets, so it can use whatever the latest portingset can, which now is Windows 2016/2019 and SQL 2016/2017.

If you aren't on the LN portingset yet, you will need to move to them. That also requires SLM to be used for licensing. There are documents on InforXtreme for how to do both.

We are...on 8.7b.01. That seems to be an LN porting set, maybe not the latest one? Not sure exactly. Haven't had the change to dig into InforXtreme yet.
