Import data - BOM
Baan: Infor ERP 10.3

We are using BaaN LN 10.3 .

I want to import a lot of Bill of Materials from XLS to BaaN LN using exchange scheme.

Can anybody guide me in detail what table involved.

Also guide me, what precautions to be taken during importing the BOM's
transactions) how to update in the system.

Please advice.

Wait for someone that knows LN.

But what I did was to create a function servers to load a bom. Basically it would check to see if the item existed, if not create item, then load the BOM. This way I did not have to worry about what all other tables might need to be updated.

GO Cards!
My latest mantra - make sure you have latest stpapi patches and the latest session object. If on LN then please explore the option of using DAL2 functionality.
