Position Title: Business Analyst
A global tier one manufacturer and a highly respected leader in the automotive industry known for exceptional performance and the opportunity for career development. The company is seeking a Business Analyst, based at their headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This position will work directly for the North American Applications Manager.
Responsibilities:
·Define and implement Best Practices to utilize Baan and
other bolt on systems so the company can start seeing a ROI
for the systems
·Analysis of current Logistics/Manufacturing/Finance Processes
·Facilitate sessions with end users
·Define requirements for developers
·Formal recommendations of Business Process Improvements (BPI)
to meet the Business Requirements
·Creation and execution of workplan or technical specifications
to execute BPI
·Issue resolution and elevation as needed
·Team management
·50 % - 75% travel
Minimum Requirements:
·Bachelors degree
·5 + years exposure to Logistics/Manufacturing Environment
·5 + years BaaN functional experience (Manufacturing, Supply
Chain, Financial Integration)
·Able to work closely with programmers and developers to resolve
various functional issues
·Familiar with the integrated nature of the BaaN ERP package,
especially with the financial area and manufacturing and
distribution transactions
·Strong problem solving, communication, and project management
skills
·Ability to manage task to completion on time and accurately
·Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel,
Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet navigation.
·Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
