Items Revision not appearing in tcibd0501m000
Baan: ERP LN 6.1 FP11 (Infor ERP 10.5)

Hi Friends,

I am using LN 10.5 and I am facing an issue with my Item Data Display.

I have a latest revision maintained in Engineering Items Revisions and also Eng. Item - Item relations is maintained for this revision. And the Engineering Item Revision is Approved By Production". Still the revision code is not displaying in tcibd0501m000 on the field "Actual Revision". This is a CDF and I am not sure if I have missed some process that has to be done so as to get the revision displayed here.

Any one who has faced the same issue before?. Your help will be much useful and appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Babu Nagarajan

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I have done all those steps and am still not able to see the revision in the session tcibd0501m000. The field "Actual Revision" is a CDF and is suppose to display the latest revision as per the logic.

Thanks

If the field is a CDF then there is no standard logic to populate it. What is the code that is supposed to populate it?

E-REV is not a CDF

Hello,

the E-Revision in item General is not a CDF.
It's a variable.

See attachment.

Hi Vince,

Sorry for the delayed response.

The field is not a CDF. It is a program variable. No clue on how the value if derived for this variable. I am looking for the base logic of from which table this variable is reading the data.

Thanks

tiedmdll0001 is used

Hello,
tiedmdll0001 is used :
Code:
tiedm.dll0001.search.revision

select   tiedm101.*, tiedm100.indt
		from    tiedm101, tiedm100
		where   tiedm101._index1 = {:i.main.item}
		and	tiedm101.cmbb refers to tiedm100
		and	tiedm100.indt <= :i.eff.date
		and	tiedm100.rele = tiedm.rele.appr.for.prod
		order by tiedm101.item, tiedm100.indt desc
E.g.
Code:
select	tiedm100.eitm,
tiedm100.indt,
tiedm100.revi
from tiedm100,tiedm010,tiedm310
where tiedm100._index1 = {:1,:2} and tiedm100.indt <= :3
and (tiedm100.exdt > :3 or tiedm100.exdt = 0)
and tiedm100.rele = tiedm.rele.appr.for.prod
and tiedm100.eitm refers to tiedm010
and tiedm100.mbcn refers to tiedm310
and ((tiedm100.mbcn <> ""
and tiedm310.osta = tiedm.osta.finalized) or (tiedm100.mbcn ="" and  (tiedm010.kitm = tckitm.manufacture or tiedm010.kitm = tckitm.engineering)) or  (tiedm100.mbcn = "" and tiedm010.kitm = tckitm.purchase) )
order by tiedm100._index3 desc as set with 1 rows

Hi Bernd,

Thanks for your reply. Found it useful. The reason for the revision not appearing in Item General display is due to Item Type mismatch between Item General and Engineering Item Data.
eg. An Item is a purchase item in Item general, but maintained as manufactured item in tiedm010 then the revision is not getting captured in tcibd0501m000.

Thanks for all your help.

Regards
Babu N
