Performance Tuning
Baan: Baan IVc

Hi,

We are running oracle 11g on BaanIV. Is there any guideline on Oracle parameters that we can use to optimise performance?

I see the tuning guide for Oracle LN in the knowledge base article, but do you think it would apply to Baan IV also? I glanced through it, but being a pointy haired boss and not a DBA, I think it is relevant. I just figured I should confirm with you.

My latest mantra - make sure you have latest stpapi patches and the latest session object. If on LN then please explore the option of using DAL2 functionality.

Mark,

IMHO yes, nowadays you can use the LN portingset too for BaanIV. You should since that portingset is the only one actively developed.
