Baan: Baan 4C4 A&D1 - DB: Oracle - OS: Sun Solaris
Oracle Errors when deleting user-id
Baan: Baan IVc4
DB: Oracle 12cR2
OS: Solaris 11 (SunOS 5.11)
C/S: None/Unknown

I am a super user and using my id to clean up users that have left the company. I discovered late yesterday I get a whole bunch of errors like this when I delete a user. It looks like it works, but I am wondering if there might be other tables not getting cleaned up. Anyone have a clue. Wondering about that bsp at the bottom.

Okay - we may have figured it out. The service name actually ends in SM(Simulation) which is our simulation company. So our production company service name ends in PR (production). So this two instances share company 000. Now since we converted to Oracle EBS they removed the simulation company or instance. So it has something to do with that. Just not sure yet what exactly.

Not Oracle but SQL. We had something similar recently where deleting users would take forever. We had done the same as you and removed test companies. Ultimately traced the problem to entries pointing to the orphan test companies in tabledef6.1 file.

Yes we have those entries still in tabledef6.1. I will try to get our admin tor remove the entries see if solves the errors. In our case at least they delete quickly just generate this error.
