Baan: B40c4, LN - DB: SQL2K - OS: W2K
all users baan login problem (B40c4 Oracle DB on Unix)
Baan: Baan IVc4
DB: Oracle 7.0.x
OS: HP-UX 8.0
C/S: Both

Dear All

Environment : B40c4 SP : 7
DB : Oracle
Server OS : Unix (HPUX)

I have encountered suddenly this problem.
Users when they try to login,

they get error
"Not authorised to run as user XXX"
"Connection to server lost"

But was able to logon as user "root" whose default 000 company linked to BISAM database, I noticed in Maintain Tables by data base. While all the others are connected to ORA database who are not able to login and get the above error.

And i do not see any RDBMS Admin Menu.
Only Maintain Database Definitions
And Assign Tables to Database session exist in Database Management Menu.
No RDBMS Admin menu available.

Kindly help and provide some clues to resolve this.
Thank you very much in advance and merry Christmas.

Baan: Baan 4C4 A&D1 - DB: Oracle - OS: Sun Solaris
Did you check the ora_users in $BSE/lib/ora ? At least that is where it is on our system.

My latest mantra - make sure you have latest stpapi patches and the latest session object. If on LN then please explore the option of using DAL2 functionality.
