Exclamation Baan & Dutch department of Defense

Great news

Baan is 1 of last 2 remaining contenders for a huge ERP implementation at the Dutch Department of Defense.

Losing this project to the other contender (SAP) would be a big blow for Baan.

Does anyone have any insight info on this? I really hope Baan wins this one.

regards

Max

Besides SAP and Baan who else was participating?
Also, do you know when they will take a final decision?

dates

As is stated in a dutch newsmagazine article:

each of the 3 implementation competitors must giva a demo with SAP & BAAN in may 2003

(Peoplesoft & IFS fell off in the first round)

The rmaining implementation partners are
IBM
CSC
CGEY/LogicaCMG

This summer, the verdict will be made: Baan/SAP

I believe BaaN 5C has been offered.
