Default Tax Code on Purchase Order

Hi all

Does anyone know how to specify a default Tax code when entering Purchase order, reason I ask is because recently we have changed from using tax code A to tax code D and everytime a order is entered they have to manully change it to code D

There is a long list of checks done in function tcmcs0036 to determine this. Essentially, it looks at various combinations of country, supplier, item group, project, budget, item, and postal code in the tcmcs146 (Exceptions for Taxes - Purchase) table. If there are no hits there, then it looks in tcmcs139 (Exceptions by Tax Location), followed by tcmcs136 (Tax Codes by Postal Code).
