Hi Helmut:
Std. ERPLN does not have this functionality, so we had developed this functionality in ERP LN using customization. I think that is the only way out.
Roughly the customization considered 4 options as follows:
1. One plate producing one component and scrap
2. One plate producing one component, scrap and rest of the plate to be reused
3. One plate producing more than one component and scrap and
4. One plate producing more than one component, scrap and rest of the plate to be reused.
Before entering the above details in ERPLN, those were modeled in sheet cutting optimization software for sheet usage, layout, etc.
