How to store text field in Uppercase
Baan: ERP LN 6.1 FP10 (Infor ERP 10.4)
DB: Other/Unknown
OS: Other/Unknown
C/S: None/Unknown

Field domain is Text - 'tc txtn'.
Whenever user populates the field with lower case characters, the value should automatically be corrected to upper cases. How to store text field in uppercase characters?

Hi,

Alignments/Conversions are not supported by Text type domains. What you need to do is, after saving the text, read the text, convert each line into uppercase, restore the text in the field and update the table.

To apply Bhushan's solution, you need the LN source code, unless you are on LN Tools 10.5. With 10.5 you can build an extension to do the conversion to uppercase.
See the screenshot. Note that the code snippet is still missing the necessary error handling.

Hi Jaap,

Is that how the new LN studio looks on 10.5? Just curious. Looks nice.
