Hello Saikat,

should be configured in the servers.xml in <SLMHOME>/etc or %ProgramData%/Infor/SLM/etc for Windows. Based on that configuration the SLM clients decides to which server they will send a license request.

Hello Juergen,

Thank you very much for your help. I have no access to SLM servers. I have access to ERPLN Application servers. Can I get the information from ERPLN Application Server?

Kindly advice

Hello Saikat,

no need to have access to the SLM server itself.
On every ERPLN server the SLM client must be installed. Here in file servers.xml you can check which SLM Server is responsible to provide the license.

Juergen

Thank you very much. I have found the information. I have in one of LN server the entry in servers.xml is as following

<server port="6005" id="2955428614" IPaddress="11.177.16.31" host="srverp-cnx-001" />
<server port="6005" id="2129337218" IPaddress="11.199.16.4" host="salk-erp01" />

Does it mean that it is taking licences from both?

Thanks once again
Saikat

Hello Saikat,

in an SLM Cluster with multiple SLM Servers, the SLM clients decide to which server they will send a license request based on a round-robin schedule. The first license request is sent to the first server listed in the client configuration; a second request to the next etcetera.

Juergen
