How to get value of String domain variable into the text type variable

Hi,

I'm fresher for Ln...
I want to know how to get the value of String domain variable into the Text domain variable.

Is there any functions are need to perform the conversion of string into text data type?

Please assist me....

We've had discussion some days ago where I posted some source (in german). I did a simple solution: write your string into a temp file and load this temp file into a LN text by using text.write(..).

This function will create a text in LN, but you still need to write the textfield into the database.
