Baan: Other/Unknown
C/S: None/Unknown

I am opening a sequential file in customized session. This customized session call DLL where I have to pass file pointer variable.the dll again call another dll there also I have to pass this variable.
1)customized session:-variable declare as extern(extern long fp)
2)DLL:-importing file pointer variable(import("fp",tispodll0010.fp):-tispodll010.fp(all in lower case) is external variable.

but not able to get value in tispodll0010.fp.
any suggestion on how to import variables in Multiple DLLs.

I think you do not have to import the variable, because the session and the called dll running in the same process.
What you have to do, is to declare the same external variable tispodll0010.fp in session code and in the two dlls.
This variable will be accessable in the session and in the dlls.

Ajesh:-I am not exporting in parent session as it is declare as extern.
hklett:-the first dll calling business method of table tisfc010.Dal of table will call another DLL.so I am not sure how will pass this value.

Even then it should work to declare it external.
