Query Data - Search from PO Header Text
Baan: ERP LN 6.1 FP7 (Infor ERP 10.1)
DB: Other/Unknown
OS: Other/Unknown
C/S: None/Unknown

Hi All,

How to get search criteria from PO header Text.
If tdpur401.item, we can use tdpur401.item like "*.G-PE.*".
But for tdpur400.txta using the same syntax, the system will prompt error.
I want to filter all the POs which the header text contains the wording "MK150".

Thank You.

Try this,

Code:
        select	tdpur400.txta
	from	tdpur400
	where	tdpur400.txta <> 0
	as set with 1 rows
	selectdo
		select	tttxt010.text
		from	tttxt010
		where	tttxt010._index1 = {:tdpur400.txta}
		and	tttxt010.text LIKE ".*table.*"
		and	tttxt010._compnr = 0
		as set with 1 rows
		selectdo
			message(tttxt010.text)
		endselect
	endselect

Hi,

I think the system do not understand **** tttxt010.text LIKE ".*MK150.*" ****

select tdpur400.txta
from tdpur400
where tdpur400.txta <> 0
as set with 1 rows
selectdo
select tttxt010.text
from tttxt010
where tttxt010._index1 = {:tdpur400.txta}
and tttxt010.text LIKE ".*MK150.*"
and tttxt010._compnr = 0
as set with 1 rows
selectdo
message(tttxt010.text)
endselect
endselect

because I try this,

select tttxt010.text
from tttxt010
where tttxt010.text like "*.MK150.*"
selectdo
endselect

the result..."No Data Within Selection"

Sample record/data from table tttxt010:

T$TEXT
"MK150 ENGINE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT - TO PURCHASE PROTOTYPE PARTS FOR MK
150 ENGINE DEVELOPMENT ( EM150)
"
"MK150 ENGINE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT - TO PURCHASE PROTOTYPE PARTS FOR MK
150 ENGINE DEVELOPMENT ( EM150)
"
"AVL - FIRE
ENGINE & AVL BOOST ADVANCE

AS CONTINUITY THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODENAS ENGINE MK150 SERIES , THIS
SIMULATION SOFTWARE IS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE CALCULATION OF ENGINE
DESIGN PARAMETERS

.

My query is,
Code:
	select	tdpur400.txta
	from	tdpur400
	where	tdpur400.txta <> 0
	as set with 1 rows
	selectdo
		select	tttxt010.text
		from	tttxt010
		where	tttxt010._index1 = {:tdpur400.txta}

		and	tttxt010.text LIKE ".*table.*"
		as set with 1 rows
		selectdo
			message(tttxt010.text)
		endselect
	endselect

Hi,

if the query you have posted is same in your script then it will not work as LIKE will not work with "*.text.*", it must be ".*text.*"
