Executing commands in command prompt using Script

Hello,

I was just wondering if there is any way to execute commands in command prompt (Windows). I used app_start to start the command prompt but I need to know, how can I execute multiple commands thorugh command prompt.

Like, the command prompt will pop up and will execute a few commands and then will exit.

I know, we can directly call a bat file, but was just wondering if there is any way to execute the commands through script.

Report orders completed is not performed

Hello,

We ran the session tisfc0206m000 via job processing and realized some of production orders were still in status Active. Then we also tried to run tisfc0206m000 only for one particular order with no outcome.

(Options Check on completion of oper - yes, Check on quantity Delivered - Yes, Post non completed inventory Yes, Accept Zero completion No)

So we entered session tisfc0202m000. Manually it was possible to complete the order and post inventory after answering question Post inventory.

Anyone with idea where might be the difference between those 2 sessions ?

What is the easiest/cleanest way to make archive company data read only for all normal users?

All archive sessions will be run by super users and no normal users will have permission to run the archiving sessions.
Many of them will have permission for the archive company though and we need a simple way to prevent them from editing any data.

Simple Report Script Date

I know most of the BaaN gurus will think this is a very simple request. I have a report whereby I want to split the date into three columns, Year, Month, Day. I need this information to split the table field tdsls040.odat into these three columns.

My current report script is such:
declaration:
extern domain tcmcs.long year
extern domain tcmcs.long month
extern domain tcmcs.long date

detail.1:
before.layout:
date = date.to.num(year, month, date)
month = date.to.num(year, month, date)
year = date.to.num(year, month, date)

The table field tdsls040.odat is being passed by the program already, just not sure if I am suppose to have a select statement inside of the report script in order to use it or how would the above variables be able to identify that they need to obtain the information from the table field?

If anyone has a report script to share which reflects how to do this, this would be greatly appreciated, otherwise if anyone can give me the simple instructions I need to accomplish this task, then that would be great as well.

plz help if anyone can figure out what the problem is......
here according to code mentioned below....m able to run through..."stpapi.form.command" command.and when step down to syncroniz the form goes in..continous mode.

Actually i figured out why the code is stuck..bcoz session is not activating on "stpapi.form.command".

plz figure out why the standard function is unable to activate session.

Hello everyone Baan users. Rather than work with a system, and I apologize for my incompetence. In this site I found solutions to many of the problems encountered.
We're trying to create a new company from existing. I know there are many similar issues but have not found solutions. We did the following steps .....

1.session ttaad1100m000 (“Companies”) – Create company 403 the same like 401….

When reviewing err3.txt and noname3, I saw the following errors error 205 and 112

"HSN Code not found for the Item EL02021006", i verified the Effective date and Expiry date, still i find this error, below is the effective and expiry date mentioned in the HSN by item.

Effective date: 01/12/1970 and Expiry date: 05/10/2035

Let me know if further changes to be done.

File Size limitation in SEQ.OPEN()

Hi All,

I'm trying to read a file on baan server using the standard seq.open() command. The file size is 9.5 GB.
Now, in debugger when I go past the file_pntr = seq.open(...), the file_pntr returns nothing..neither zero nor any other value. The program continues to execute and exits smoothly without any errors. However, I'm not able to open the file and read records from it.

All smaller files (I have checked upto 800MB) are being handled successfully. Is there any limitation of file size that Baan can handle in seq.open?
